Sometimes you meet the love of your life in the most unexpected ways...
Our story began thanks to a mutual friend and a spontaneous evening in Cologne.
One warm evening, Nia had a date with our mutual friend, and they decided to go party together. I, on the other hand, was bored and called this friend to ask what he was doing. He told me that he was in Cologne with a friend.
I spontaneously asked: 'Can you ask her if it's okay if I come with you?' Nia had no problem with that and said: 'Sure, feel free to come with me.
So the three of us set off and ended up in a club. But the celebration didn't quite meet my expectations. To make the evening more exciting, I asked Nia, 'Should we pretend we're a couple for the evening?' Nia thought the idea was funny and agreed. What started as a game surprisingly quickly felt very natural and right.
From that moment on we never let go of each other. It was as if fate had brought us together.
A year later we moved to Aachen together.
Four years later I proposed to Nia, and five years after we met, we exchanged vows at the registry office.
In the sixth year since that fateful evening, we would like to celebrate our good fortune with our family and friends on October 3, 2025. We look forward to sharing this special moment with all of you and celebrating the love that began on a spontaneous evening in Cologne.
